GENERAL INFORMATION
The PE department is an established department with high levels of sporting success. Results have significantly improved over recent years and GCSE PE has a 100% success rate at the *A-C performance indicator.
The department offers a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities with all of the major activities represented for both boys and girls. The department also offers a range of intra-school sports opportunities
The department has good facilities including a large sports hall, a floodlit multi-weather area, floodlit tennis courts and a grassed football pitch. Equipment for all activities on the curriculum is good and is available for every pupil.
The department are part of the SSCo Partnership.
KS3
Students follow the National Curriculum and participate in a wide range of activities such as football, dance, rugby badminton, gymnastics, athletics, table tennis, hockey, cricket, basketball, netball and rounders.
KS4
All Students study core PE and are offered a range of activities. In addition GCSE PE is offered as an option at Key Stage 4.
