Key Stage 3
Throughout Key Stage Three pupils receive two lessons a fortnight and during this time they will complete a variety of composition, performing and listening tasks. Pupils develop specific subject knowledge through a variety of different topics e.g. music for film, jazz music, orchestral origins and pop music. In each topic pupils learn about the cultural and historical significance of the type of music they are studying as well as developing their sense of musicianship.
